Due to a traffic accident traffic is flowing with difficulties on A6 Rijeka-Zagreb motorway at Stara Sušica viaduct in direction Zagreb.
Due to rain the roads are wet and slippery in Gorski kotar and Lika mountain regions, in Istria, in the northern coastal area, in the northwestern part of Croatia.
Expect rock and land sliding on the D8 Adriatic road and in the mountain regions!
Strong wind is blowing on the section of A1 motorway Skradin-Prgomet as well as at Oštrovica junction on A6 Rijeka-Zagreb motorway.
Drivers are invited to adjust their driving speed to road conditions and hold distance. During bad weather the headlights have to be on.
Traffic is of medium intensity on most Croatian roads.
During the day increased traffic with difficulties should be expected in roadwork areas and near major cities of the interior.
On the section of the D1 Solin-Klis highway traffic is closed for 30 minutes tomorrow at 9am, 5pm and 10pm and on Friday at 10am.
Roadworks in progress:
- on A4 Zagreb-Goričan motorway between Popovec and Ivanja Reka junctions - driving speed has to be set at 80 km/h;
- on Zagreb detour road (A3) between Buzin and Kosnica junctions - driving speed has to be reduced to 80 km/h due to roadworks at Jakuševec knot, till December 31;
- on A2 Zagreb-Macelj motorway between Đurmanec junction and Trakošćan paytoll in direction Macelj;
- on ŽC 5169 Bjelopolje-Donji Lapac regional road - closed for traffic 8am-2pm and 4pm-7pm, till November 15. Detour: D1 Bruvno-Mazin-Dobroselo-D. Lapac-D218;
- on A6 Rijeka-Zagreb motorway on the part Bosiljevo 2-Kikovica at Velika Jelsa viaduct in direction Zagreb - only one road lane is free;
- on Rab island - ŽC 5139 regional road through the place Banjol (part Petrac) closed for traffic - detour: through Santa Lucija;
- in Istria on Poreč detour road and on D302 state road at the place Vrvari, till December 31;
- on D1 Solin-Klis highway;
- on D116 state road from Hvar towards Stari Grad on Hvar island;
- on D8 Adriatic road Kaštel Stari-Plano knot;
- at "Čeveljuša" part near Ploče.
Tisno bridge on Murter island closes for traffic for 30 minutes every day at 9am and 5pm, till September 15.
At Demerje paytoll (4 km before Zagreb) on A1/A6 motorway Jastrebarsko-Zagreb the toll can be paid using the ENC device or credit cards. At Lučko paytoll it can be paid with cash only.
