SYNOPSIS
A ridge of high pressure is extending from the northeast toward the
Adriatic, while a trough of the Mediterranean low is staying over the
South Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NE, locally in the open of the Central and South Adriatic N and NW
wind, 6-16, in places of the North and of a part of the Central
Adriatic up to 26, strengthening in the evening and during the night to
16-26, in places of the North Adriatic up to 32 knots. Sea 2-3, in the
open 3-4, in the open of the North Adriatic during the night up to 5.
Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy, still with a risk of some snow in
places, in the South Adriatic of rain, mainly during the night.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Moderate to strong NE, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic N
and NW, and in the Velebit Channel NE wind up to near gale force. Sea
slight and moderate, in the open of the North Adriatic up to rough.
Mainly cloudy with a risk of some snow, in the South and in a part of
the Central Adriatic of rain.
